I got king kong in the trunk.

Pretty close to the top of my bucket list is attending a real rap concert. And I don't mean a "rap" concert where most of the crowd is white and lightly peppered with a few black people and the occasional asian. I mean a rap concert where everyone is thuggin' hard and someone will be "making it rain" (hopefully in greater denominations than George Washingtons).

I really wanted to go to the Dallas K104 Summer Jam show last year (headlined by Lil' Wayne), but tickets were something ridiculous like $90. R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S. But I will soon be making career woman monies so that's a non-issue. I'm hoping to cross this goal/aspiration off my list in DC...it's a popular destination for rappers, right?

3. T-Pain
4. Ying Yang Twins
5. Spank Rock (does this count?)
6. Akon (shut up, you know this would be a good concert)
7. Ludacris
